Nothing could be further from the truth when it came to the actual event. Beginning to labour in a very controlled state, quickly turned to an out of control state where clear thinking went promptly out the window. We both wished we had a secret box that held all the answers on what to do next! We wanted a "Midwife unit" that offered ideas, options and a basic plan for us to explore throughout this mind-blowing, monumental, almost primal occasion in our lives.
